Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone! We (so far) had a great holiday here in Chicago. We woke up at 7:30, which is actually the time Henry and I get up every morning anyway, to open presents. Henry was so very into the bows and wrapping paper at first, but as the day went on, he l-o-v-e-d his new toys. Thank you all so much for the great gifts you sent us, it meant a lot. We miss you all so much, but are really happy at home together here in Chicago! Love you!

Fun Weekend

Hi!
So I haven't written anything yet because nothing interesting had happened, but this weekend was fun so I will tell you about it.
Friday, we went to the girls volleyball game against the U. We won. :) Then we went to a birthday party and had pizza and stuff. Then we watched Sicko. It is a really interesting movie.
Saturday, we went to the Hare Krishna temple in Spanish Fork. We all took dates. I took Tawnee. She is my FHE partner. It was fun. It was the "Festival of Lights." Pretty much, we watched them do some traditional dancing and listened to music. The temple was really pretty, but it smelled like feet because you have to take your shoes off to go in.
Sunday, church was good. Then we ate dinner with the girls in Apt. 16(that includes Tawnee). They made Navajo Tacos. It was really good.
That's about it for my weekend.:)

Halloween Baby!

Happy Birthday Dave! You are such a "Davey Angel." You are such a good kid. You have always done just what a kid should and I'm sure Mom and Dad would agree with that. You are so fun to be around with your good attitude and little giggles here and there. You are doing so well in school, keeping your scholarship, and now you have decided what to 'be when you grow up' . . . a computer guy, just like Dad. I'll never forget the time we went to Mesa Verde in the freezing cold. You were so cold, you even put on my leggings. It was hillarious. And I just loved when you came to hospital after I had Henry and you were so concerned about my shaking. It was so sweet. You are a great brother and I am so proud to say I am your sister. I hope it is a great day! I love you!

Mom's and Dad's Visit to Chicago

Hi. It was so very nice of Mom and Dad to come visit us in Chicago. It meant the world to me and we had so much fun. While they were here, we tried to not stray too much from Henry's napping schedule, but we did get to do some fun things. We went downtown a couple times. The first time, we took a boat tour along the river and lake. We got to look and learn about all the tall buildings. It was really interesting! That same day, we went to Ghirardelli for sundaes. Oh man, were they good. We wanted to go back every day after that. During the trip, we went to Millenium Park and walked the Magnificent Mile (shopping). One day we drove along Lake Michigan, which was beautiful. We got to eat a lot of yummy food and just have fun together. I love our family and love that we are so close!
